Amal means hope in Arabic.
The difference between hope and optimism is that hope focuses on agency.
There may be times when hope feels out of reach. My promise is to walk alongside you—to support you in finding new ways to heal, grow, and move toward what matters most to you.
Hope is always possible!
I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and process your thoughts and emotions freely. While I hold space with care and intention, I am not a blank slate—I’m a continually evolving person on my own journey, just like you. I recognize that I have blind spots, and I actively welcome feedback as part of a collaborative and respectful dynamic.
My approach is grounded in anti-oppressive and anti-colonial values, with an emphasis on empowerment and self-determination. I often work with individuals from the following communities:
Ethnic and racial minorities
Neurodivergent folks (especially ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD)
Queer and LGBTQ+ individuals
Those navigating challenges within capitalist or corporate systems
Specialized areas of focus include:
Trauma processing
Attachment and relationship issues
Anxiety and depression
ADHD and Autism
Life transitions
Grief and loss
Substance use
Navigating racism and systemic oppression
Relational dynamics and interpersonal conflicts
Existential questions and the search for meaning or purpose
Work-related stress and everyday life pressures
